Hellas Construction, Inc., the #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking an experienced full-time Project Manager to support our Phoenix, AZ office. Qualified candidates must possess a degree in either Construction Science or Civil Engineering, along with experience in heavy highways, parks and recreation, or other civil construction specialties.
The Project Manager will take ownership of Project Profit and Loss, ensuring that all civil projects are well-planned and successfully executed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include managing multiple assigned projects from award through closeout, with project sizes ranging from $5-$20M. The Project Manager will also be responsible for understanding all aspects of operations, working cohesively with Superintendents, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Architects, and Clients to ensure all project requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects from start to closeout.
- Responsible for project setup, budget entry into company software, issuance of purchase orders for all materials, and maintaining project files.
- Full responsibility for creating the master project schedule, including proper project documentation for the owner (contracts, bonds, insurance, SWPPP documents, etc.), preparing subcontractor packets, and processing and tracking submittals and shop drawings.
- Attend all project, pre-construction, job site, substantial completion, and final completion meetings as required.
- Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and projected profit analyses against the budget.
- Review and approve subcontractor monthly payment requests and submit them for processing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
- Previous experience managing civil engineering projects involving dirt, concrete, pipe, liner, underground earthwork, etc.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to read and understand project plans and specifications.
- Experience and knowledge of civil construction required.
- Ability to manage 3-4 projects concurrently, with total project values ranging from $5-$10M.
- Moderate to high proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Full understanding of Construction Math concepts.
Salary will be commensurate with years of experience in civil construction. In addition to a base salary, project managers will also earn a bonus based on job profitability.
